Agreement
FaceBrief is operated by Bamboo Labs LLC (“Bamboo Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using FaceBrief, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
FaceBrief helps you organize information about people and practice recognizing them. Public-data enrichment and image search are best effort and may be unavailable, incomplete, or wrong. Verify important details yourself. FaceBrief is not a medical device and does not provide a diagnosis or treatment for prosopagnosia.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your briefs and uploads. Do not stalk, harass, discriminate, impersonate, violate privacy or publicity rights, upload unlawful material, bypass access controls, or use FaceBrief for biometric identification or automated consequential decisions. You must have permission or another lawful basis to store and use information about other people.
Plans and billing
The free plan currently includes one brief with up to ten people. FaceBrief Pro provides unlimited briefs and people. It is currently offered as a recurring web subscription through Stripe. If a released mobile app offers a one-time, non-consumable purchase, Apple or Google processes that purchase and it can be restored through the purchasing store account. Web subscriptions renew until canceled. Promotions may change the displayed price, and the amount and terms shown by the applicable store or checkout before you confirm control the purchase.
Availability and changes
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may act against abuse or security threats. We work to keep FaceBrief reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Features based on third-party public sites may stop working when those sites change.
Ownership
You retain rights in content you provide. You grant FaceBrief the limited permission needed to host, process, copy, and display it back to you as part of the service. FaceBrief software, branding, and product design remain ours and may not be copied or reverse engineered except where applicable law permits.
Account closure and liability
You may export and delete your FaceBrief data from Account. To the extent permitted by law, FaceBrief is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Florida law and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Except where applicable law gives you another right, disputes will be resolved in state or federal courts located in Duval County, Florida.
